Its technically not a Kawasaki. I think KHI should be ashamed of themselves. All of their so called genius engineers and race teams struggle to qualify for anything. They throw in the towel and give a privateer the bike with very little else and look at the result. Now all we need is for KHI to drop the World Supers team so they can perform as well. I don't blame their team for not going green.
Rant over.
GO MARCO YOU ARE A LEGEND. I would like to see him win one so he can power slide to the finish line like he did at the Island.

I respectfully beg to differ. In the same way that the Tech 3 team still run Yamahas, the Hayate racing team are running Kawasakis (Kawasaki do feature in the manufacturers standings). I think it's a shame that Kawasaki didn't see fit to name the team Kawasaki Factory Racing or something similar, but at the end of the day it's still a Kawasaki.
Regardless, Marco is a deadset legend and throroughly deserved the result.

What I meant was the factory basically has nothing to do with it any more.

He still would've had to have dealt with the drive through penalty, or did he speed the second time he went through the pits?? Damn late nights and alcohol!!
I plan on living forever..............so far so good!! Self appointed official poon-tang image supplier to KSRC 2010 KSRC MotoGP tipping champion
When he changed the second time I think the speed limiter wasn't set so he exceeded the pit limit and paid the price. Much like we do but we get away with it most of the time...

Tracky - ZX9R F1 Team Jerry Atric
What he said...
Going by Rossi's report it was when he swapped out the crashed bike that he got the fine.
But who knows - Rossi was still pretty slow on the wet tyres compared to Lorenzo.
Anyway, forget I mentioned Rossi.
GO MELANDRI!
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough. Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
About time, but why are they now succeeding where before they failed miserably?
Mick
kawasaki just wouldnt develop the bike or spend the money or listen to ant west or hoppers on what needed to be done so basically the poor results. and pretty sure there was something to do with the rear end of the bike as well. westy finished it in 5th last year.
but good on melandri and team hyate full credit to upstage the factory teams
