Eyebrow piercing & Helmet

Post by DMonkey »

Any one had one? Is it annoying/painful. Just thinking of getting one and wondering if other ppl have had any issues with them.
Or any tips?

I had one once - actually a bar rather than an actual ring.
Was very careful for a while and was no real problem.
Until early one morning when I forgot about it when putting the helmet on
Tore on the inside - could never get it to heal properly and had to take it out :(
Don't bother - it won't end nice.

Had one before i started riding. took it out for work reasons.
The only time i had an issue with it was when i was terminally drunk after a night out in the open during a summer night thunderstorm. tore my shirt off to wring it out and nearly took my eyebrow with it.
Never had a problem with it when i put the helmet on or took it off. usually sat below the rim of the helmet...
My advice is not to worry too much about it. if you get one, you'll learn pretty quick that you can't be careless with moving things around over it.
Still over 2 years after taking it out, i take off my t-shirt by pulling the neck out and away from my left eyebrow. if you manage to make it a habit to avoid it when donning the helmet and other things before tearing it out of your head, then you'll have no worries :D

Had it for years, just learnt to be careful. Never had a problem with the helmet.

Drunk uncles and small children on the other hand, are a different matter entirely

Hey, when i was a teen my old man ripped mine out of my left ear mate, I have had it caught on helmets, womens pubes, car interiors, wedding dress, but I put my head in places were it would get hurt or caught I spose  Just a dumb prik in general and got away with it.

These days it dont mean shite, but where I grew up it really made a difference in your future. :kuda:

Oh, wait until your kid does it.
