Price check - Chain and sprockets?

Post by Stereo »

How much should I be paying for a chain and sprockets installed? I have been quoted roughly $400.... (sprockets $36 and $60, Chain $200, installation $100)

For a 2005 ZX10R

From memory, that's about right from a shop.
You can get chains on ebay for $140ish to cut the price down a bit.

do it yourself and its immediately $100 cheaper.

Get aftermarket sprockets......and chain from ebay - shouldn't be much more than $250-$260 bucks all up :kuda:

$400 is bullshit.
