Re: Your first time, deliberate? accidental? painful?
In lap after Qualifying at QR, turn 3 I made an effort to see if I could. I got a little scrape, never done it since. Probably the slowest I've ever taken that corner too.

Re: Your first time, deliberate? accidental? painful?
Turn 1 Broadford session 5 on my first ever trackday. Had been trying all day to scrape a knee, almost lost the front a couple of times trying. Then decided to just go fast and have fun, and the knee scraped. Wasn't expecting it, shit myself and pulled my knee up. Then I realised what I'd done and put it back down again.
Second track day at Broadford I was scraping everything, knee, pegs and boots. Farked my boots good and propper. After that I raised the rear ride height and have scraped nothing since (Including my knee)
But then the boys started racing BMX and and in the two years since I have only done 4 track days, two of which were in the wet.

EC turn 2. Came straight in and swapped by black sliders for bright yellow-green ones and went out and rashed them up too. I did have a rule that knee-down on the road was too fast but I just kept lifting my knee going through corners (which actually unsettles the bike quite a bit) so now I just let it scrape.
