Post by rooster »

Who hase done this?
What was the cost?
Was it worth it?
Where can I get some ZZR1100 cams?
If life is like a box of chocolates, why do I always get the laxettes?

I've got some thanks to Rod but they're going into my Rex. Can't help you with any info yet but will let you know after it's done. :D (I just have to wait for my pod filters, 4 degree timing advancer and jet kit to turn up :kuda: )

Eric the 1996-2001 ZZR cams just bolt straight in, no hassles. If you look here http://www.zrxoa.org/ ZRXOA web site in USA they are the best for info on Rexs.
The cams give you more top end and mid range but you loose a bit down low, cause the lobes are longer so they give the valves more lift and longer duration. You will need a pipe and jet kit to help with the transition.

The ZX11 can also be used.
