Mrs Wattie and i got ours, direct deposit, then they send me a bill coz i apparently miscalculated my earnings last year, so straight back it goes.

i thought allowances for tax free.?

Allowances are no longer tax free but you can usually claim deductions against these. Did you do your own tax or have a tax agent do it?

Yeah I got direct deposit, but my account number had changed, but I did the update my details thingy with the tax office a couple of weeks ago .

Me and Tracey got ours yesterday.$1800.00 in total, should come in handy on our trip to Malaysia in August.

Just found out from the accountant they are being sent out according to postcodes and if you get your tax return sent to your accountant they will go there. Mine's not there yet.

It will take a while for all postcodes to be sent out. They are not sending them all in one go.

I got nothng and aint getting nothing The one year that i didnt pay tax out of the 32 years i have been working means i get not a brass razzo .So i will be doing my best to pay no tax next year.

I think it depends how you got last financial years tax return - so either bank deposit or cheque.

Cut off is June 30th for last financial year, otherwise you COULD miss out, doesn't say you definately will, still waiting on mine Keep checking the bank for some stimulation but alas not

Sorry must have confused you ,as my company didnt make a profit so i dont get money.My tax return was lodged ages ago for 08.So people that earnt $2.00 or 99,000 dollar get it but not the people that didnt turn a profit
