Mate,
Bruises heal and chicks dig scars, make sure when your telling the ladies what happened you dont let the truth get in the way of a good story.

"i was racing this cockhead porche driver, so to show he was slow i flicked my bike onto the back tyre and jammed it into 3rd. dropped the nose to go round a corner when a little kid walked out in front of you. monster stoppie saved the kids life. or something, feel free to illaborate
Ride on brother.

Quote from the shop is $6500 to repair all the damage, and before you ask there's too much to list it all. If people really want to know then I might put it up.
I doubt the insurance will agree to all of that, but we'll see what the assessor says.
No frame damage though.

Oh ... and I'm in a fibreglass cast for another 5 weeks. The scaphoid wasn't fractured, but the large bone in my forearm has a small fracture right near the wrist. So not as bad as it could've been.

at least that's one minor bright point in all of this (the arm).

At least there isnt any frame damage. it's all plastic, clipons, exhaust pipe, guages & assoociated labour on the costs im guessing? (no need for a full list unless others want it, but that is just my guess) :-).

take care mate & good luck with the repairs/replacement!

:D Might talk to you about that zx9 in a couple of weeks Phil - see if it's still around.

Got word today that it's a write off. They're apparently still waiting for the full report from the assessor but have word that it's a total loss. I'll get more info in a couple of days.
