Besides I kind of like the blue ones, and it's all about how good you look in the pits when you're as slow as me.
Depends if you are one of those type that like to have a gear indicator so you know what gear you are in, that is if you see someone beside you that can actually see what temp his tyre warmers are saying will this bother you if you can not? I do not believe there is much benefit other then simply knowing so if you don't need to know why pay the extra $

Tyre warmers help get the tyre up to temperature, but they do not get the tyre up to working temperature. With tyres I work on two settings - a cold pressure as a starting point 26 - 27 psi then a hot pressure 31 - 32 psi which I measure as soon as I get off the bike (note for Dunlop GP slicks). I don't measure it with tyre warmers on as this does not give me anything I can use.

I have used two types over the years and couldn't tell the difference so I don't have the digital display ones.

Up to the individual preference me thinks.

So given that my tracky will now use a smaller rear tyre, should I get the smaller warmers? There's a 160 and there's a 190, will they interchange and fit on other bikes or will the small one not stretch around the big tyre and the big one be too baggy on an RGV? Dunno how much difference is in them really...

Id say you'd be better off getting the bigger 190's Tony as the smaller 160 wont stretch around the bigger tyre too well... That is if you plan on using them on a bigger bike oneday??? Or you just want to warm up the centre and leave the chicken strips cold  I wouldn't think it would be a big deal that the bigger one's are on the RGV over the edge :?

Hey Tony

I need to get a new front stand because my current one doesn't fit the ZRX. We might be able to arrange a deal.

Check how much clearance there is from the tire to the chain . If you have a baggy warmer on the RGV it might not pass through easily plus wipe chain lube all down the warmer .
Ummmm let me see
