Can't remember what i had on at the time actually, but yeh, i've used Shinko's before. feel a little slow to tip in due to the flatter profile of the rear tire, but sticks like shit to a blanket... I did find that they can get too hot though, even on the road... had that happen once before and geez it was slippery as hell

Nice bike and Pics Dr, have you thought about keeping the OEM fairings for a rainy day and gettin some of the ebay ones in the design your looking for? Ive ordered a set cause Im gonna use my 10R for track/road and if I low side or what ever I wont ruin my OEM fairings. I heard from a few other forums this guys not bad http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KAWASAKI ... ccessories
And for $560 odd delivered beats ruining the OEM fairings!

Yeh I'm much the same actually. I priced up a new ductail to fix the flappy tail light syndrome and prices from the Kwaka shops ranged from $420-480 without decals
Considering it's only about $100 more for a full set of these landed they definitely seem in contention. However I'm a little hesitant due to issues I've heard with some suppliers. I like the prepainted setup in the Monster kit but they're a popular choice with people and I like the idea of something a little different. The other option I've thought about was to get a kit unpainted and then have them painted here in a lush white (with a thought of a green pearl over it)
All comes down to cost really at the end of the day cuz unfortunately I'm not quite made of money lol. (Plus things like wanting to changed exhausts etc)
