Also Bonester i need ur details so i can get those forks off u!!! or else im gonna have to go to a wrecker :?

and in 2 months i should be on the road again!... problem is i called the RTA and asked if i can book while im on suspension... they said yes... BUT if i dont get my P's for my car licence im gonna have to do 120 hours... *cough*forge*cough*!! :kuda: :kuda:

Ive been driving for nearly 3 years in a car... so i got that handled.

And dont rub in the 6 month suspension in my face... i know i did wrong and that will NOT happen again... i miss the road too much to do it again...

Anyone wanting to help put it together tell me so i can put a bbq together!!

Gosling1 wrote:nearly all those little Zeddie motors with the primary drive chain have a lot of free-play in the primary chain......don't expect a new chain to have much less tension than the one you just pulled out.....I just had a look at the service manual for the z650. The service limit on primary chain slack is 27mm......it is recommended that the chain be replaced if it has worn to 1.4% longer than stock. The length of a new chain is not specified...

Bones - as far as I know, the bottom-end in all these donks (GT750, Z750, Z650 etc) is basically the same, with the obvious exception only being the output shaft and pinion on the GT7fiddy.......all the other internals are interchangeable between models ? ( there may be slight differences in the actual gearingon the input/output shafts in a couple of the gears though..) ? There are big differences with the frames and running gear though...

Good luck with the rebuild Panza - the GT750 was voted Two Wheels "Bike Of The Year" back in 1985 or thereabouts.... :kuda:
Gos...Paul says ur full of shit  !! hahaha :kuda:

the chain has a tight fit... not much movement as before...

Now another spanner day once i get the gaskets i need, and the honing tool and the timing chain guides

then wait a month then im set!! WOOHOO!!

Cant thank paul enough for the enormous help he has been!

5 Kudas for paul!! :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda:
