and a classic selection from Dave3 as well.........gotta love the Gunners. I saw them at Eastern Creek with support from Rose Tattoo and Poison, back in the early 90's ?? It was a great gig - anyone here go to it ?? We got pretty hammered on cheap goey. It was fab !!!
Oh yeah Gosman I was there. You must have got hammerred early though dude it was Skid Row not Poison, Rose Tattoo and some other band from Melbourne first who were pretty hopeless.
Gunners did their normal trick and came on late while the crowd got anxious and sarted little bonfires all over the joint. Sensational concert but getting out of the car park was a bloody nightmare
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

'twas one of the best live gigs I have been to.
The bonfires were *sensational* - and can you remember the human pyramids that were popping up all over the joint while we all waited for G'n'R to hit the stage ??? Some of them were pretty scary-tall !
Skid Row - of course, now I think back, they almost stole the show !!
It was a hell of a gig. I can't remember seeing you there ?

OK, here is the first clip from my favourite artist. This bloke, like it or hate it, is one of the most influential musicians of all time. He paved a path that many others have copied, but never equalled. His songs stand the test of time better than just about any other artist, and he has always been a pioneer in the industry. His career is one of the most enduring in rock music, and he has inspired countless bands and solo artists for over 40 years now.
This particular song is from the very early days - its not a recognised 'classic' in the sense that a lot of his other songs are, but it remains one of my favourites from way back when I got my first pocket-radio around 10 years old.
I will add some more clips from this legend in due course.....

Not quite - as I said I'm a bit younger than the worst of you lot, but I did go to the 2007/2008 concert - it was Rose Tat, Sebastian Bach (the former front man from Skid Row) and the Gunners (well what's left of them). Awesome gig, but clearly lacking the atmosphere of EC in 91.
I mustn't be a bowie officiando then, as I always thought Starman was one of his biggest hits?????

You might be thinking of Space Oddity ? ( Major Tom) - that was one of his biggest hits indeed.
I am not happy - cannot find a video of 'Suffragette City' that I can embed here !!! The official David Bowie YouTube TV site has disabled the embedding option ! Its probably my favourite Bowie song.

That's fucking awesome thanks Gos!!! I watched it twice!!! Yeah...It's been about four weeks so I am a bit like that at the moment!! But......I'm fixing it thursday Night! My fuck buddy is in need of servicing, so she is coming over for a sleepover!! I'll have to take matter into my own hands the night before, so I last the full 30 seconds!

I saw that clip for the first time last Saturday On Video Tits. My kids were singing along to it !!
Its a bit awkward when your 9 year-old son is singing "....and I jizz in my pants...".......and then asks "..heh Dad, whats jizz mean ?..."......and the 11 year-old daughter's ears prick up and she also wants to know !!!!
So I managed to invoke the Parental Guidance Control feature, kept a straight face, and told them it meant he had shit in his pants.
They seemed to accept this without question !!
