I think it was just a brain snap and a rush of inexperience. The best way to learn is by your mistakes. If you are unable to do that then you are a lost cause.
The biggest mistake was to do it for the camera. The difference between you and every one else is they have all said they "have almost done the same". No one else has admitted to doing it yet. If it makes you feel better when I was about your age riding a XT250. I stopped at a set of lights and forgot to put a foot down. The little Yamaha is alot easier to pick up than the ZX6. At least with a helmet on no one can see your face.
Is it possible to get a still photo from the video?? If so that would win the photo comp hands down.
