hey in winter is a lid enough to keep your noggin' warm or do you need a beanie/"skull cap" bandanna of some type under your lid?

it depends on how cold it gets where you are. up here in the middle of winter, i usually wear either an open faced fleecy lined balaclava or a neck warmer. sometimes on the REALLY cold mornings when its blowing a 100mph wind and raining as well, i'll wear both. generally though, the neck warmer is all you should need.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
