well all i can remember of VIc is the out back road where half the {centre of the road} was tar and the rest dirt. never seen so many people driving in the middle of the road.

None of the roads in that trip had *any* roadworks at all....

there was that one bit just past kiandra gos. where they had conveniently torn up 3 x 1m strips across the road. glad that wasnt a tight corner. But all in all, the only problem had, wasnt roadworks, it was melting roads
