Six Addict wrote:everyone discounts the ERs but if you're still new to motorcycling, then id imagine it to be a great bike, specially if u commute everyday and dont want a bike u have to work hard on to get it going...if u wanna become a faster or sportier rider then go for the Z750 at a minimum...

FWIW i love the ER6n... but i think im the only one...

the paraphrased quote from the AMCN bike of the year contect where the first ER6n was entered was...

"we should get 8 ER6ns and have rider of the year"... they are good at everything but not blindingly quick...

altho hearing about Mick C scratching on his old Z650, maybe a modern 650 could be quick in the right hands... :P
Neka loves the nakeds... I think they are gastly but then again each to their own :)

Its a mixed response with regards to the 6f BUT i wanna learn everything i can about each bike, which will prob give me a mind explosion of sorts, then make a decission. But i've taken an instant liking to the er6, z750 and zx6r... Who knows that may change in 12 months time but meh we shall see i guess... I don't really wanna go outside the kwaka brand simply cos i've been that way inclined since i was a kid watching the dirties...

HEH close minded much? :P

The ER6 is light and agile and great fun in the twisties, the only 2 things that let it down IMO is the rear shock as it has no damping adjustment and the the first gear ratio as it revs the bike out too quick, but once into second - z750s beware as the midrange punch can hurl it to 120km plus
I ride because it's more satisfying. I ride because it's more fun. I ride because my Mum told me not to. I ride because as long as I'm paying attention, it's safer than driving.
