From Sydney now, road in Melbourne some 20 years ago, (Honda VT250F) was nearly knocked down three times in a weekend, and scared the "youth" out of me....maybe my riding style in hindsight or maybe not.....decided to "not die too young" and sold up, but............
Fuel prices killed my car last year,( or mortgage ) got my bike licence back, and with more age/experience blah blah blah blah blah and slower reactions, have managed to commute to work since, with few heart-stoppers. (more thoughts on riding style!!)
I'm trying to organise a mid life crisis soon, so the Mrs will let me have a bigger bike, such as a ZZR-600 or other, so she can sit on the back, later, console me during long rides, in the aftermath of breakdown and miraculous full recovery, after purchasing next bike!! Your thoughts, suggestions, success stories most welcome!!

But that's not to say my current 2003 ZZR-250 Blue/Silver, supreme, pinnacle, exceptional, fantastic, awe-inspiring, legendary, second hand (baby) is not the best bike in the world. (though the brain washing has helped with the Turbo- Charged Sowing Machine stigma of the standard pipes at 12 grand!! Near 400km to a tank, with gentile riding. All good.
Say 'Hi' as you whiz by!!
The Windsor to Lithgow ride was great, (hard for me and bike) and recommended for a good cause.
Thanks
