Or tell them you'd be much safer if it wasn't for all the bloody cars on the road!maraach wrote:Also, if you are worried about people telling you how you shouldn't ride a bike, then it's probably best not getting one.

I would jump on the boys moto-x bikes and just not tell em, but whenever they found out it was world war 3 at the smith house hold.
Moved to adelaide and met neka and being 24 mum reeeeeeally couldn't yell at me, but she made it known she was NO FAN of the zthou!!! But i was and dad well he was just happy i was happy so he reckons.... Then i got my licence and told them when they were drunk in the states at my sisters wedding.... Mind u i first said the course was about learning to be a better pillion AHAHAHAH then added oh and i've learnt to ride! Dad was over the moon mum just laughed... Then realised i was serious.

Ur folks only care mate! Its upto you how u want to play it out... One of my friends actually took her mum along to the learners course so she could see and be apart of the experience... Dunno if it will work for u, but i reckon if u can show ur folks that ur a responsible rider they may come around to the idea like mine did
Ur in adelaide so u got us to ride with too when u finally get ur bike!!!!
