
My dad used to ride back in the day and when I found a photo of Mum pillioning on the back the resistance was over.
They never threatened to kick me out or anything like that, I think they were just worried I would end up dead. Which is fair enough, shows they care.
Mum eventually saw I was 1000% determined to get a bike and now only gets worried when I go on the track.

You should just talk to your parents about it. Be honest with them and show them that you are really serious about the bike thing. Including research you've done, training options and the money you've saved for quality gear. If you cant talk with them like adults then maybe it is time for you to move out.
