Wouldn't be that the clip ons have been moved under the triple clamps would it.. ;)

Even allowing for that those forks are a long way through the triples .... and the 00 zx6r came with clip-ons the mounted under the top triple clamp in the first place.

pfft.... you really should know better...

I will suggest you are both wrong... as its 98 / 99....

so I stand by my original comment.... :D

Have a look at Franks zx9r (if he ever gets it out) it suffers from the same modification...

Heres a pic, the forks were raised 5mm from std...

:kuda: :kuda: :kuda:

oh, and Jima
Sorry to tell you this but yep, its a 98 / 99 model not a 2000.
The only thing 2000 on it is the front fairing.

Tell tale signs are the swingarm, yours has the square box section swingarm, the 2000 has the chamfed / tapered swingarm.
Not so telling is the engine case as yours looks a little damaged, but it does look smooth, the 2000 had a finned engine case..

Oh and the fact that forks stick thru the triple clamps so much, as the clip ons have been moved below them.. ;) .
