Good bike shops on Sunshine Coast ?

Post by Saki »

Hey guys,

Wheres the cream of the crop when it comes to good bike shops up here on the Sunny coast area ? I have been into a few so far. I liked Team Moto's selection of Kawasaki's in every model in every colour!
But looks can be deceiving as the Kawasaki shop in Hobart did have a nice shop, but the rest of the store needed alot of improvement!

So where should i go and check out! and give my precious dollars too if i need too ?

Can't help you on that one Saki, sorry. But I had a niggling thought, and finally remembered about Sunshine Coast riders meeting every sunday at the Bli Bli Caltex at 8am. They usually head Maleny Kenilworth Peachester Obi Obi, & sometime a run the back way to Kin Kin pub. The topic on Brisbane Bikers hasn't been updated since Sept '08 - but the meeting point might be worth checking out.
Cheers,
Anne

I can't give you any advice about anyone up there...I can say that there is a relatively new kawasaki shop on the highway in Burpengary named "crazy dogs motorcycles".  although they seem to be more into offroad bikes.

Dunno where you are exactly so dunno if thats a long way from you.

Lot of people recommend revhedz motorcycles in Brisbane.... they're a kawasaki dealer as well and quite a few people recommend a place called LAE for dyno tuning.
I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.

Im pretty sure thats where my bike went for the RWC before i bought it, i wouldnt reccomend them, they seem to squeeze whatever work they can out of you before they hand over a RWC. Happened to a few other bikes that i knwo of as well.

Now that i have tiem to think about it there isa place out at Kunda Park, a private shop that i have had good reccomendations for. But i cant think of the name, i think its Redline or soemthign like that.

Gday Mate, I lived on the coast for 25 years but recently moved up to airlie bch. I bought alot of bikes from all the dealers on the coast and recently my zx10r from team moto near sunshine plaza. They were fine but i would rather deal with pro griffin at kunda park. They arent a kwacka dealer but serviced my bike very well and looked after me with other gear. They have a range of brands and good accesories and seem very helpful. I wouldnt recomend sunstate motorcycles as myself and alot of mates have not been happy with there service.Definately dont deal with webbys motorcycles in caloundra. Hope this helps!! :kuda:
