That is very sweet.

Thinking of all of you down in Victoria. Hoping you, your friends and family are safe and well.

TTown, alas they're a bit more than grass fires and last I heard we had a death toll of 131 from said fires, this is expected to rise quite a bit yet :(
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

As a man, I have stood in Bunker Gear and fought to save lives and property. As a man I have pulled bodies out of cars and houses that could not be identified as anything more than a piece of meat. As a man, I pray for those in your country who have been effected by these fires.

Thank you for your well wishes to those affected by these horrible bush fires / firestorms.

BTW, do you do anything as a woman? Just curious, as you started every sentence with "as a man"... :)

I was informing mick_dundee, who had a made a negative comment about my praying for the people, aware that I know how serious the situtation is. For years I was the Chief of the FAIC Fire Department. It would be impossible for me to do something as a woman, after all "I don't swing that way". My girlfriend had a good laugh at your comment.
