I have read all about bloody cage drivers but none prepared me for this one... Went to Rob's place, beautiful sunny day with blue sky, to pick up the dririder pants for Sunday's ride. Bit of a chat then went back through freighter street. Didn't want to make right hand turn so went left to warrigal instead... no dramas as they say UNTIL all of the sudden a van blasted through my left (MY lane), then rode ON THE FOOTPATH -- YES THE PLACE WHERE PEOPLE WALK -- for about 25 meters, then park in front one of the building. FAAARRKK. !!!
Now I know I should have taken his rego and such and report it but i guess I was not thinking properly due to the suprise ...

I've been a eye witness to a car lane splitting on geelong road in peak hour traffic.
That was pretty surprising.
BA Falcon, went inbetween a van and a car, on a two lane section of road at the laverton end of geelong road

Probably one of those nutters from Instant windscreens, on the corner of Keys rd and Warrigal Rd. They have a few loonies there. Don't take it personally, they do it to cars and anyone else that gets in their way.
Friday afternoon mate, he's on his way to the pub, so look out.
I bet it woke you up. I would have given him some work to do on monday *smash*

How about this then. Riding out the back roads near Canberra, catch up to a group of about 12 Ferrari, Porche and BMW drivers. Start working my way through the group with my mate Scott right behind me, get behind a Ferrari that was closely being followed by a Porche, just lining up to overtake and the Ferrari slams his brakes on. I almost went up the arse of the Porche who almost went up the arse of the Ferrari.
Luckily no-one hit anything. I gave him the finger as I went past, but my mate saw he was just laughing at me, so he pulled up along side and started abusing him. Because it was a convertible he felt a bit exposed I think and he became very apologetic.
I would have stopped and taken some photos of the machinery when they pulled up at the picnic area down the road, but I knew it would degenerate if we got into a "discussion" with the offender, so I just kept going.
Seriously though, we saw nothing to indicate that these guys had any idea of how to drive their cars
