People do come and go ... had a pee at broadford trackday and lo and behold next to me... Irishmale. Now that's a character I haven't seen for a looooooooong time. Where's Tanya btw. she's a QLD right?

I too have to kick myself in the arse to do a ride.... not sure why the interest is diminishing. I used to get up at 5am on saturday to go for one

Rusty & Tack have hit the nail on the head. With a combination of older (meant in the nicest possible way!) members finding other interests (dare I say bucket racing?), and the majority of us all being on local forums such as WR, BB, QMRF etc, the interest in Qld KSRC activities has declined. All we can do is keep posting rides and the occasional get-together, and keep handing those stickers Madkaw keeps foisting on us out! "Build it and they will come!"
Cheers,
Anne

I am constantly handing out stickers whenever I see a Kwaka (kind funny seeing as I am on a Suzuki! )

There is a limited edition ZX10 parked outside a workshop on my way to work- I stopped and left a sticker and a note under the pillion strap on his seat- no show! :(

Then there was the hot guy I met at the hairdresser a few months back on a black ZX10. He noticed me reading my Two Wheels while I was getting my hair cut (and he was getting his hair streaked  ) We talked bikes for about an hour- I gave him a sticker and told him what a great informative, supportive place KSRC (in general) is. No show :( (Must be that he realised a guy that gets his hair streaked is nowhere near tough enough to hang with you guys!  )

I wasn't aware of any QLD problems. Would love to join some rides but only available Sunday/Monday usually due to work commitments. Most Sundays are pretty shagged so my rides are fairly local. :(

I used to be quite active on KSRC including online and events but my circumstances changed , having kids plus Mrs working weekend, and illness in family last year forcing me to work longer hours than I hoped. But hopefully now with the arrival of our latest addition and the Mrs not working ATM. Now everything has sorted itself out I should return to my 3 or 4 visits a day rather than 1 every 3 or 4 months :)

where's barrabob these days anyway ?? He was a full-time regular ? I know Nanna is off racing buckets at every opportunity......I miss his posts, they were always some of the funniest around the place...

Yes Wendy, that Mt Tambo gig was the first time we met. Big turnout of KSRC Qld that day - maybe 20 or so ?? It looked really mpressive coming in through the gate... :kuda:

I would love to meet some QLD KSRC members, but my riding time is very limited. The Minister for War and Finance allows me to attend one group ride per month. Because I KNOW I'm always going to have a great time with them, I choose to spend that time with QMRF.

When things settle down around my place, I'll cross-post a ride between the two forums, ending with a sausage sizzle at our place. Riding with those I already love and meeting some new people sounds like the best of both worlds. :D

No rides Gos, at all, hasn't been a group type weekend run for the Vics for fucking ages... we've lost a fair few of the former riding group, then we have the added problem that we can't seem to get Mario or Rossi actually ON their bikes...

Still plenty of us riding regularly but more commuting type stuff I guess, anyways, enough with the thread hjack, sic em Wendy!!!!

Btw, IS there a sesame street forum? :)

Only reason I haven't been involved in getting off the net with KSRC of late is that my bike hasn't been registered in a year, I have had other things to occupy my time with. Once I get off my arse and deal with the bike I'll be up for any rides/gatherings

I'm glad you made the latter choice BM, would hate so see you vanish from KSRC, I've never met you in person but I like your attitude, I like to deal with issues and move on, I hate stuff festering in the background, gives you the shits!!!!

Your welcome to come riding with us down here anytime, us Suzuki riders gotta stick together
