hmmmm maybe a hands on event for each state was a good idea. Maybe some money for each state to hold a BBQ and a cruise day or something along those lines. That way potentials can really get there "hands on" and feel like there part of the family and get them into the "club" "family" which is i guess what we are trying to promote.

Maybe some flyers to put around motorbike shops/mechanic if they want to have them etc etc and then on a set day can just get to know all the potentials!

I am sure, VIC, NSW and QLD would be good start, plus SA and WA if there is enough action out that way! :kuda:

Ok, who can knock up something that will get ppl's attention. ?

3 options would be good.

A magazine add - 1/4 page .?
A banner add - thin strip for top of web page (can use on ours too.. :-) )
A flyer - A4

I think Smittys info is good.

I'll get pricing and we'l lgo from there.

I agree that a mag would be the way to go.
Phil has contacts with AMCN, have you thought about that mag.

If only there was a member who had contacts with national motorcyle magazines.

But yeh, a story in a mag on KSRC at the Superbikes..
hmmm now who do we know with magazine contacts, and may be going to the supers, and possibly going on a KSRC ride down there.?..
It'll come to me..

It has beenmentioned but just a bit more subtle

How about the track day photo - the one with all the bikes (mostly green) lined up... I'm thinking a caption something like "Love your Kawasaki?" above it.
Then a bit of a short spiel about the club, saying that all Kawasaki sportsbike riders are more than welcome, that we do regular rides, regular track days, social events, learner days, spanner days, etc. Tell people to join up and find some local Kawasaki riders near them, and access a wealth of hands-on knowledge about various Kawasaki models, etc.

Then with our logo across the bottom (or across the top). And with the url very prominent. Just an idea. If there's no rush, we could actually try to organise a photoshoot, instead of using the track day pic.

Sponsors would have to be more prominantly positioned on the web page when/if the magazine ad goes ahead..if it is to be self sustaining..

+1 :)
This would need to be advertised ie flyers well in advance with the bike shops, the only downside if there is a BBQ involved catering for numbers unknown but acheivable with good organisation. a very good idea IMHO.
