Re: front stand help???
shouldnt be that hard at all. once you get the axle though manage to get the threaded nut on the other side, by thightening it should pull it through the rest of the way.
give me a yell if you need a hand and i will come around

Re: front stand help???
Cheers Russel I'v given up for the day......Only thing I can think of is there is a plate which hold's the front guard and I undone it to get the guard off for easy access to paint.Maybe one of the fork legs is twisted a little when I'v done it back up before putting in the wheel.....Will have a look after work tomorrow and loosen this bracket of first...Blurr wrote:shouldnt be that hard at all. once you get the axle though manage to get the threaded nut on the other side, by thightening it should pull it through the rest of the way.

Re: front stand help???
Dave there could be a sleeve between the 2 wheel bearings, if there is it has to line up before the axil will pass through.... just a thought

Its thru everything including the bastard of a speedo cable on the other side.....I can turn the axle but I just can't get it to take(thread into the fork leg).....robracer wrote:Dave there could be a sleeve between the 2 wheel bearings, if there is it has to line up before the axil will pass through.... just a thought

Re: front stand help???
That's not a bad idea.....Will try that first....Can't see it being the thread as it hasn't taken yet so I couldnt have cross threaded it.
