I think its a vcd, and aren't there printed instructions on the back anyway?DISCO wrote:Ok so I went and got the plastex. And the instructional DVD dosn't work....Is it as easy as just making a groove and mixing the 2 parts(liquid and powder). And what are all the parts in the kit for

the block, its damn near useless and is supposed to be used so you can form part shapes (heat it in boiling water for 5 minutes first) by pressing it onto the object to clone.
the little bottle, thats to be used with the "needle" to meter the fluid while applying it to the join
the pippette is used to take fluid from the glass permenant storage jar to the plastic bottle, put any remaining fluid back in the glass jar when you are done else it'll evaporate.
the one thing they *REALLY* need in there is something to move the powder from the containers to the repair. After much experimentation i found that the best way to do this is to get a straw and cut the thing so theres a rather sharp angle cut across the straw and then square the point off so its 2-2.5mm across. I've used this setup for quite a while and the straw has earned itself a place in the plastex toolkit as a permenant entity.
I tried doing the "mix externally" idea, but i could never ever get it to work for me.
