I agree that middle finger does just get in the way some times!!!!!!! Imagine the weight saving if you get rid of both of them

I mean .. what does it do? .. .. Ya cant point with it .. thats allocated, ya cant thumbs up for obvious reasons .... the BIRD is taken, .. and the pinky .. well .. numerous protocols ... sipping tea (for poofs), penis size or lack there of when wiggled etc ....
Can anyone think of a use???? ...

Well there's always the bastardised Kuda, which is more of a sideways Vulcan salute, it works just as well, if not better!
