I picked up my new, sexy steed today at 4:45, it was a very long day, I can tell you! He's happily parked in the garage, awaiting my return to riding!
I used the ride home from Acacia Ridge to home at Mt Gravatt as a guage for possible riding Sunday. Unfortunately I won't be going anywhere, gear changes (especially down) and stopping at lights was really quite painful. By the time I got home it was caning, and has made things difficult at work tonight! So, I guess that means I might have to actually heed the physio's rules... pasta_whipping

Anne

Saw one like that on the way to work this AM, looks very nice, I really like the 2 tone colours on the Z1000 & 750.

Rowan, stop crashing my thread and create your own ;) Go on, you know you want to! As for mating bikes, well my mind is running overtime just wondering how it could be achieved! A Z1000 and a Z750 = what, a Z825?
Cheers,
Anne

Well, because I can (and because this is my thread BWAHAHA!) I am posting up more pics. So, I am going to reclaim my thread, dear reader, and here, presented for you to enjoy the beautifulness (is that a word? well it is when I have had too much to drink!) of the Z, are more pics taken when Z'ev posed in the front yard.

A boo-hoo self-sorry moment here....
At the moment I am starting to go around the twist what with trying to write an assignment. homework.gif So, I thought, hmm..might go and have a sit on the bike and see how I would go with the gear selector and my ankle, if it seems okay, I'll tell Jeff when he gets home from work that we are heading out long enough to clear the cobwebs from my brain. XXbuzzsaw.gif

 I am a little too optimistic it would seem! My ankle and lower leg caned after a few experimental gear changes while the bike was in the garage, I doubt I would get down to the main road with the way it is. They physio said to me a few weeks ago that I would have been better off fracturing it, at least they heal cleanly. I am beginning to think he is right. help.gif

You know, I must be setting a new record for time between getting a new bike and for going for first decent ride!new_rofl.gif
Cheers,
Anne
