wont rev over 10 000

hey guys i have a zx2r ninja and it wont rev over 10 000 rpm i just got it back from the mech after they put second hand rings and barrel on and carby they dont no how to fix it not sure whats wrong with it

and i have some parts from a zx2r a model too tank wiring computer

Hi Mate, firstly I would question the mechanical ability of the people you get to work on your bike if they leave you in that situation, that is of corse they didnt have reason to leave it that way :? is the throttle locking in full open position? & did they service the carbies before fitting them?

sweet jeezus! change mechanic!!! Without more detail it's hard to say I'm with Rob start with the simple stuff and work out if theres a physical restriction stopping you from opening the throttle(carbs) enough to rev out. Could be a few things from carbs hugely out of tune/sync through to a blocked or restricted exhaust. Good luck keep us updated.

10,000 is about 3rd, in the burbs .....a tad fast......see above AND askthe people on here for a mechanic of reasonable repute in your area ..........and buy a T- SHIRT well worth the money .....do I get a discount :P
