It's a bit steep however, this guy can ride. I rate much higher than Hopper and he's probably the best rider Kawasaki would have had...

He's been a World champion and won several GP races. No one else that has raced for Kawa has a resume as good as his. Nakano & OJ did well in the 250's, De Puniet & Hoffman did nuffin, Pitt did well in another class, McCoy is the only one that has won a GP race...

Anyway, I guess we'll never know.

OJ was a World Champ, 2000 when he beat someone called - um - Nakano.

I agree though Dave, Melandri may still have something to offer whereas by the time OJ got there his best was well and truely behind him.

Still, I would have kept Westy - and fixed the bike
