WooHoo (translates to I love my new bike)
I think most of you have caught on now - but in case any one hasn't - Yes, we are the proud owners of a 1999 ZRX1100R (thanks Devo). Obviously being 20 yrs younger than the Z500 makes the riding much nicer and way more fun. We went for a ride to Burragorang Lake on Sunday, I felt like I was actually riding with Rod not just trying to keep up with him. I can turn the throttle going up a hill and actually go faster without having to change down 4 gears. Anyhoo, Mr Smiley face is a good example of my face on Sunday
. Rods got a list of things already planned for the bike, so as things happen there will be pics.

those zrx's seem to be infectious e.g. they grow on you.
I could imagine the world of difference between the 500 and that wold be like a datsun compared to merc!!!!

Congrats, Rach! I'm sure she was worth the wait!

Another ZRX...awesome!
I got to see another one in action this weekend and like all but one other I have seen, it was being ridden "as the manufacturer intended". They are a very capable machine

I tried Phils ZRX1200R and then test rode a Z1000 from a dealer, just to see if I favoured one or the other. But I was happy with either - just turned out the ZRX1100 was first available, and cheaper on the back pocket. So now I can get a new helmet too !!Well done Rach...... Re: WooHoo (translates to I love my new bike)
We noticed a coolant and oil leek on Sunday, so up on the stands to have a look.
The water pump has a small drain hole underneath and turns out when the pump is gone coolant leeks.
Also the O ring going into the crank case was stuffed to which oil leeks outta the same hole. So thanks to Aitkens a new water pump is on the way.
Should be right to go again this weekend.
Did I mention that I feel in luv with the rex on the Sunday morning ride....

I hear a 9 and ZRX is a brilliant combo - apparently
Well done Rach, I'm sure you'll love it for the same reason Kat does - massive urge from no revs
