TOKYO, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries
Ltd <7012.T> said on Friday it would suspend its participation in
MotoGP-class motorcycle races starting in the 2009 season as part
of its efforts to save spending amid the global economic
downturn.
The firm has participated in the races since 2003, and annual
costs were about 4 billion yen ($43.8 million), it said.
