Re: fastest bike
Suzuki. Why the fastest? Is there some serious hard core learner riding going down ?

Re: fastest bike
Would be more productive to have a bike that handles and stops well, so you learn the skills of riding. When you gain a full licence, you can explore the speed limits. Six Addict is an example........he rode the wheels off his 250 !!
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

Re: fastest bike
there is no point in buying the fastest learner legal bike if you cant handle the speed or the power of the bike.
would be better to hone your skills on a less powerfull bike first.
its not about going flat stick straight away its about knowing your ability and sticking within those boundries for a while.
besides a good rider on a 250 cc bike can keep up or out ride someone on a bigger cc bike just with rider skill more so than bike power.

Re: fastest bike
Dude, seriously, none of them are very fast! I'd probably go with a 2 stroke 250 or a 4 stroke V4 Honda as one of the faster LAMS bikes (I think the 650 twins are so hamstrung that they're unlikely to be the quickest), but honestly, they're all pretty slow
