Will an 02 ZX9R ventura rack fit a 99 ZX9R?

Well as the title says... will a ventura rack off an 02 9 fit a 99 9?

Where better to ask this question than here?

I had a similar question about if a ventura rack would fit another model bike.I found the Ventura website homepage and there was a search section for what rack part numbers suited what bike models.Maybe you can search both bikes and see if the rack part numbers are the same.

Thanks Peter, after posting this my brain went "ding ding" and I went off to the ventura site and yes... they are different

Perhaps someone in Perth just happens to have one lying around that they are not using for the next couple of weeks?

NO it will not fit BUT
I'm after one of these for my 9 02 model is there some one willing to offload a rack at the right price Mel

Nope it certainly wont,niether wil a 02 zx6 fit a zx9 02. i watched e-bay for 9 months waiting for an 02 zx9 rack and nothing came up.i ended up getting one through Micheal in QLD.There a rare breed secondhand as few 9 riders ever sell there bikes.Good luck

There is a post on Perth Street Bikes by Miss Behave (who I am staying with) requesting a ventura rack for a 99, somebody responded that they had an 02 rack for sale... I don't know any more than that! Could be worth following up, though maybe postage might be a killer?
