Want to say ‘thanks for the memories’ to the Road Warriors team?

As some of you know, Road Warriors Cafe at Mt White closed its doors today for the very last time. In 2009 I’ll be creating a ‘Road Warriors Memory Book’ for café owner Max so he can remember all the fun times had there over the years.

The book will contain the photos that were hanging on the photo wall from inside the café and a collection of stories from riders about their memories of Road Warriors over the years.

If you’d like your story or photo to be included, please contact me at RoadWarriorsBook@yahoo.com.au. I’m looking for things like: a story on how Max and the team might have helped you out with a busted bike; a photo of you at the café; or an ‘official’ thank you from your bike club, etc.

Be aware that the book may be viewed or distributed publicly in the future and you are contributing all materials with this understanding. If you want to contribute a thank you but not have it included in the book please mark it as “not for printing” and I will pass it on to Max separately. Contributions will be accepted until 30 March 2009.

One other thing I’m looking for are logos or branding from old leathers for use in the book binding. If you have an old set of leathers that you are willing to cut up and are able to cut out the logo/branding, please let me know.
