I'd say this is a temporary relocation from Stoney Creek Rd, until they rebuild after the fire damage.

Uhm the original SCM building is up for sale/lease (and i think still needs the worksdhop fixed/rebuilt), so i doubt they're going back there in a hurry.

They've gone tits up and called in the receivers haven't they? Pity, I'd love a Bimota DB6R, just can't afford the $40k for one

I think that is another organisation with a similar name? I read the article in AMCN last edition.2ndclasscitizen wrote:They've gone tits up and called in the receivers haven't they? Pity, I'd love a Bimota DB6R, just can't afford the $40k for one
Re: Stoney creek motorcycles?????
No that was Stoney Creek Powersports that went belly up as GE money was withdrawn. They hope to reopen soon with new financier. They were importer of Bimota Moto Morini Sachs etc.

Update: It seems Craig is based at Padstow permanently now (smaller store, lower overheads) and will no longer be selling Yammies.
Unfortunately the Stoney Creek location is a writeoff so after years of being a motorcycle shop, it's a shame to see it disappear. Good to see he is still in business, though

Yep, got mixed up, saw that in AMCN as well. It's good that it was just GE pissing off that caused their problems not a lack of sales, they bring in some awesome bikes.Che wrote:No that was Stoney Creek Powersports that went belly up as GE money was withdrawn.
