seeing as there wasn't any interest in anything other than the island ...changed tack and left at 7.00 this morning and spent till 2.30 out in the yarra ranges...more wiggly bits ....mr plod (apologies aardy) had two cars on black spur healesville side.....lots of friendly car drivers flashing lights at bikes... did 358 ks around yarra ranges and a bit of dirt to 
managed to end up in bunyip national park in the prosses of following my nose .all in all a pleasant day......went north so i didn't have to wear my PJ's
