If your going to upgrade soon anyway, maybe a 10 is ok if you keep your right hand under controll.

Is a 6 really that much more forgiving? How much does a six weigh? i saw figures showing it close to a 10 in a mag but the figures may have been possibly skewed somehow
Let the good times roll.

the zx6 is pretty dam fast! and its not a whole heap slower, i guess with it being forgiving is, it doesnt make as much torque and for example if u were to get a bit excited out of a corner the zx10r with its gruntly little motor can get a bit of wheel spin happening and cause some noobs to panic and then end up in all sorts of trouble! Where as the 6 is less likely to do it.
Plus the way the 10 comes onto power is so much more extreme than the way the 6 does, the 6 is still fast do not doubt that for 1 second, but its fast in a sense that you really have to ring its neck and it gives you a chance to think "mmmmmmm i am starting to go fast now", plus you can glance at the speedo for a sec and still see you are on earth

But the 10 on the other hand well, you own one you should know, you get yourself all preped to go fast, you ring it, and bam you at point B before you know it!

Well i found them to be different. The crim had heaps more mid range power than the gumby, but what the mid range the gumby lack it saw as hell makes for up the top!

The 08 seems a mix of Both, it's longer then the Crim but feels nearly as nimble. As for Output, or seat of the (Brown) pants. Imho you can gear any of them to be Stupidly unusable for just about anyone in any circumstance. I was disappointed that mine didn't CUM fully equipped with " A bad hair Wattie Stunt double"
