KSRC Sponsor Andrew Hooper Wins Kawasaki Technician of the Y

Kawasaki congratulates Andrew Hooper from Aitken Motorcycles in Moorebank, NSW for winning the 2008 Kawasaki Technician of the Year Award in Sydney on Friday 21 November.

In order to become Kawasaki’s Technician of the Year, Andrew had to prove himself as he and four other finalists from around the country were thoroughly tested at Kawasaki’s headquarters in Sydney. Andrew shone through as Kawasaki’s Technician of the Year, exhibiting great knowledge of all things motorcycle, specifically Kawasaki.

Andrew and the other finalists had to undertake a written exam, practical exams and show their competence in handling a difficult customer relations situation.

While Andrew took out top honours, Antony Boyland from Down South Motorcycles in WA was awarded 2nd place and Evan Byles from SA Dirt Bikes rounded out the top three.

Kawasaki is confident that customers of Aitken Motorcycles will be even more impressed and assured knowing that Kawasaki’s Technician of the Year is servicing their motorcycle.
