And 11 times out 0f 10 they want you to believe it is the fault of the motorcyclist. If she had collected him when she cut him off, what do you reckon the headlines would have been? Armed bikie rams car!
What he did was wrong - but so is smashing windows and kicking mirrors off. ;)

Thats true but without that info we don't know. Also I never suggested kicking the mirrors off. ;)
Remember, half the people you know are below average.

yea, but mirrors dont kill people,

well, not everyone (see http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 19&t=22105

and what is a better option, kick their mirror, or get sandwiched between them and the armco?

Kicking the mirror may get their attention - and they may turn to look at you, and squash you into the armco in the process.

Once more with feeling ...

I don't agree with his method, but I sure approve of the message.

I don't care whether it was a shotgun, a pistol, an M16 or a Gatling! You don't point a gun at someone for a traffic infringement. (And yes, I've been deliberately run off the road by a BMW driver...but I was riding a Yamaha at the time). BTW, how many people ride with a gun, for crying out loud? It's not part of my usual pre-ride check before hitting the freeway every morning, or the hills on the weekend...

See to me this still doesnt sit right,

Ok sure the news SAYS this person has been busted, but still to me, i reckon this story is a scapegoat for the papers to brush this one under the carpet because obviously people were picking up that the BS meter was running off the charts!

some good points have been made including from Hinchy himself!

I am just skeptical thats all. Plus a story like this would be all over the front page of the news paper and most likely not just the local paper but probably papers around the country and on the tv news too!

Just wat i think anyway!
