ummmm well, not really, bairdy kept falling off the 10 and spent most of his time on the 6 towards the end of the season, he ended up 4th overall in the supersport and out of the top 10 on the superbike.

Jamie WILL go well this year and i like the idea of signing josh waters, he's a future champion in the making, hope they stick with him.

I agree its dissapointing not to have 2 bikes in each class, but when it comes down to money lets just be glad they are out there at all, it wasnt that long ago there was NO official green team.

By way of comparison...
- An undisclosed Ford team wanted $100k for the rear wing end plates on both sides on both cars, and $200k for the lower windscreen...

- Another Ford team wanted about $200k for both rear quarter panels on both cars...

- An undisclosed Holden Team wanted $200k for corner of front bumpers, roof (just above Holden sign) and Fuel tank...Both Cars

It would probably be a bit cheaper in bike classes but still, who has that kinda money laying around?

And what's the point? Do the advertisers really think they're getting their monies worth? Do you buy stuff because of a sticker on the side of a V8 Supercar?

I reckon that if Coca-Cola did NO advertising for 12 months, they'd still sell exactly the same amount of Coke.

Name recogntion is handy, and it's worth spending the money to get that recognition, but when it comes down to poxy little stickers on the side of a wing... well....
