Just found out about this, no need for aftermarket ECUs it would seem if you are a little handy.

That site rates as one of the most fascinating technical forums I have ever seen on the ZX12R (and a heap of other DFI bikes) - but as S&W says, if you don't know your capacitors from your zener diodes, just walk away......
