I have found that some sun block causes the eyes to sting when you use it inside a helmet, with the visor down on a warm day.

It would seem that the cream heats up and the fumes (?) go into your eyes because they are in an enclosed space....

was reading the other day that shoei is the only brand that has uv blocking visors, not having one causes the pupils to dilate a bit because of blocked light and since uv is still getting through it does more damage!

whether thats true or not i'm not sure, wouldn't have thought a clear visor would block that much light anyway, but something to think (argue? ) about anyway.

anyone confirm that their helmets visor blocks uv? my shoei definately does.

I wear specs, and have clip on sunnies(it comes as a set wif the specs), but tat's not good enough, the morning sun still gets me. I'm looking at this product becoz I wan something tat is just enough to get the glare off. And this product is static-stick-on(the description says so), so I can remove it and keep it in my bag(I always have a bag) if I'm riding at night or when it is not so glaring, rather than carrying an extra tinted visor around.

I HATE wearing sunnies under my helmet. I've had to do it for the last 6 months as my tinted Axo visor is fucked yet again!

Ahh OK guys understood... I just wasn't sure if there was a "technical" reason why you shouldn't wear sunnys under your helmet...

I ALWAYS have a pair of sunnys on my head... Habit I spose...

I blind as a bat too but I've been wearing contact lenses for about 10 years now... They have a tendency to magnify any glare so the sunnys are a prerequisite...

strutto- there a pain in the ass.....they give me a headache (earstems too
tight with lid pushin on em), they move around (how many times have ya had
them flippin up & down when u get over 100kph??) and they give ya that gay
sunnies burn mark...dont get me wrong, i wear sunnies EVERY day without
fail, i have to as i have super sensitive eyes, but i hate wearing em under
a brain box...

I've found an identical product on a US website, and I've brought in 4.
I' still trying it out on differnt lighting conditions.
It has been performing up to my expectation so far, I'm pleased with the product.
