Welcome back to the forum Adrian, nice to see you making some new friends

As Adrian so rightly said Autosol will give a cleaner brigher effect, but it will be far from a mirror polish. It does remove some of the tarnish, but it does not affect the surface of the metal. Only the really messy polishing 'soaps' will do that if combined with a polishing wheel. Fuggin hard work and plenty messy, but a longer lasting effect.

Now we've got that sorted, Adrian, can we organise a time when I can come round with a wad of cash and a slab so we can look at that gearbox, or should I just come and collect it so it's not clogging up your garage?
