I have never been to Eastern Creek, so this will be more of a fun event for me rather than focussing on any potential result. This is another way of saying I will probably be floundering around at the back of the pack looking lost and bewildered.
I was planning on a practice day a week or two ago, but, well, I didn't make it, because the van caught fire not long after I left for Sydney. 
Anyway, no major damage, just an electrical fire, but it was enough to stop me completing the journey. So this time I have organised for the bike to go on a truck and I am flying down. If anyone from here is heading out, make sure you come and say hi.
Hey - Any chance we can organise a bit of a catch up on the Sunday night after the event? I am staying at a motel in fabulous Rooty Hill, and most of the other racers will be going to the presentation dinner, but I will not, since I already have all the trophies I am likely to win in this year's ASC.
So I figure if some of you are up for a KSRC get together it could be a good thing, especially since most of you have to work on Monday and I do not... 
I don't know if I will have access to the net after tomorrow morning, but Mr Kaw has my number and if anyone else wants it let me know.
