Think you got most of the answers you wanted.

Additionally, Black (slave) keys can be cloned. Do it before you lose it obviously.
Or you can get a non immobilised ECU or RACE ECU (cheap now they aren't current models)
Or you can cut the chip out of the key and glue it in place, prevents immobiliser doing anything though.
