3 houses away isn't far enough!
BTW I found a way to make the addiction a tax deduction that you can do every day! Multiple bike syndrome is a side effect too....

Re: is riding an addiction?
If you were truly addicted you'd justify to yourself that the kebabs at the shop at the far end of the twisty road far, far away are much better than those three doors down, and ride there for one at some crazy hour of the night when you're not even really hungry. I think what you're talking about is laziness, not addiction

I've ridden every day for the past three years and haven't found it at all addictive

That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.... Hunter S. Thompson.

I think it is an addiction for sure, just try caging it for a week or so and you'll soon know, having said that, I seriously cbf putting my helmet on and warming the bike up for a 3 HOUSE RIDE...

My dad and three mates once road from Harrys Cafe at Wooloomooloo to the Gold Coast because they decided they wanted burgers rather than pies
It's a story that comes up regularly when the old boys get together. They road two up, 1 bike went down somewhere between Sydney and Gosford leaving one with a broken collarbone but they kept going. They still reckon it was worth it.
They were riding Triumph Bonnevilles
I think at least one of the guys lurks around here, now has a ZZR1100 and an old 13.

Re: is riding an addiction?
I few months ago I rode from Canberra to Milton to get a pie. After that I thought I'd compare it with some other pies, so I rode to Robertson.
Pies are tasty, and so is Mac Pass
