I'd be veeeeerrrrry surprised if that was genuine. The incoming rider / bike just doesn't look right.

Happened in the British Superbikes a few years back. I remember seeing it, Nori Haga was very lucky to be able to ride through that

It was the world superbikes and they used to use the clip in the opening credits on Fox Sports for each round.
The rider was Akira Yanagawa riding for the Harold Eckle Kawasaki World Superbike team.
Poor old Yanagawa had a couple of bad or spectacular offs. He was punted off Laguna Seca by a riderless (Doug Chandler) ZX7 at the cork screw as well. Chandlers bike cut through the in field and T boned him into the air wall. If that is on You Tube it would be worth looking at as well.
Remember, half the people you know are below average.
