Re: fastest 1/4 mile for a zxr250
was his bike stock?
what mods did he have for that run, that sounds like a good number for a 250. and also what gear did he cross the line on 3rd? or 4th
i've seen a zxr250 pull a 14.0 on his 3rd run but he sounded like he was still in 3rd gear.

Re: fastest 1/4 mile for a zxr250
RGV 250 would be much quicker,
nevertheless after a few runs its safe to say a high 13 sec pass won't be impossible to pull of.
also a few weeks ago a black cbr250rr fireblade pulled a 13.8 aswell and by the specs aren't a zxr250 quicker?
i can't wait until i run thats forsure!!

Claimed quarter mile for a stock '89 RGV was 12.57 - even after removing a couple of tenths for factory exaggeration it's still a lot faster than 13.8!
Who cares anyway, there aren't any corners on a drag strip

On the track day, you get heaps of time on the track and on the 250 you'd be in white group (slow). Plenty of time to practice and if others are faster than you, they give you heaps of room and pass you when its safe to do so! But make sure you budget on new tyres after the day

Bike is stock apart from a can, he crossed the line pretty much on the limiter in 3rd, got a few 14.0 before hand and then got the 13.8 with a shitty 60 footer of 2.38 so there is still probably another tenth in it
