Hey all,
Ive got a 92 ZXR400 and have been tracking it in the last couple of months and really like the bike. Im pulling same times as I did on my 97 GSXR600 round mallala! Ive raced the GSXR a few times and will be racing the ZXR soon too. I need a engine case protector to pass scrutineering and Id guess you guys interstate will need them too....I ve lockwired the front brakes, that was pretty easy but as for the engine case protector I need some direction. Is there a protector commercially available I can buy or do I need to make one? Any pics or ideas to get this sorted would be great.
One scrutineer told me I wouldnt need one as the case was slighly in from the frame, but then another told me it didnt matter Id still need one to pass at the next race meet. I dont want to pay my fee and rock up to find im told I cant race!
Thanks
ZXR400 racers please help!

Re: ZXR400 racers please help!
The rules read that if it sticks out past the frame it needs protection, if it is protected by the frame then tell him to naff off & read the rules.
NRC covers should be available but I havent looked....just looked ...they dont
